Welcome to the 6th Annual Jay Dix Challenge to Cure. We are excited to offer three different events for all levels on a single day, 9:00 am, Saturday, April 12, 2008. This has become a family event with a distance and race for everyone.
Included in our distances are a 5K Walk, 5K Run, and 10K Run. All of these events will be chip timed and start at 9am from the new location at Flat Branch Park. (4th & Cherry)
KIDS AREA: Kids not participating in the run, there is a supervised fun area at Peace Park sponsored by the FIT (Females in Training).
- A distance for everyone. Bring your entire family to this event. Distances included are a 5K Walk, 5K Run, and 10K Run. Strollers are welcome for walkers.
- Dri Release T-shirts!!! These shirts are softer and lighter than 100% cotton shirts. They are designed to rapidly wick the perspiration off the surface of your skin.
- Post Race Buffet sponsored by the Missouri Beef Industry Council and Shiloh Bar & Grill.
- Water stations throughout the course and will be stocked with water, sports drink, and plenty of volunteers.
- Supervised Kid's fun area Flat Branch Park available from 8:30 am - 11:00 am so mom and dad can run in the race (K-8)

- T-shirt for the kids provided by FIT!
- The race will utilize Ultramax Events AMB ChipX computer chip timing. Each runner and walker will receive a chip that will automatically record the runner’s time upon crossing the finish line.
- NEW FOR 2008 - The Challenge to Cure will kick off the Ultramax Multisport Series. Find out more about this exciting event series!
